
Lori Greiner (born Lori Husman) is an American entrepreneur and television personality. From 2009 on, she's appeared as either a Shark, or as an investor on ABC's business reality program Shark Tank. At the age of 18, she began to be fascinated with custom-made jewelry. The jewelry she created continued to be sold and sell her creations until the day that she came up with the concept of designing an earring case made of plastic. Then, to gauge the reaction of women those who she saw on the streets, Greiner showed the product to. Her product was patented, and then began to sell the product online and offline. She continued adding more items. The company has already created and promoted over 1,000 successful items and has 120 US and International patents. Her business-savvy skills allow her to know in an instant whether products have the potential to be "a hero" or not.
