Michael Torres who goes by the name Myke is a Puerto Rican musician and rapper. He was born on January 15in 1994 at Rio Piedras Puerto Rico. He changed his name in the year 2017 by changing his name from Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. The reason for this was in honor of Young Kingz music group of which he is a member. The initial i in the group's name was replaced with a y. Myke Towers has been part of the underground rap scene in Puerto Rico since his adolescence making his very first songs as well as freestyles through his SoundCloud account. The artist gained fame in 2014 with songs such as Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal and En los Bloques. The urban music scene was also drawn to his La Nueva Droga Freestyle, along with his take of Drake's"0 to 100%".
