Taylor Swift has become a rare pop phenomenon: A superstar who crossed over completely from country music to pop culture and became an iconic pop star that is set to endure forever, and sweeping over all of the world. Swift let go of the influences from her country music as if they were an additional layer of skin and revealed she was among the finest singers/songwriters from her time. Swift could make the event personal and use it to her advantage. Her talents could be seen in her earliest tracks, notably the neodue Tim McGraw. But on her second album Fearless released in 2008 Swift could identify who she is and find audiences across the globe. Fearless was successful not only in America, but also with six platinum-certified singles. Its Top Ten songs Love Story and the hit song You Belong with Me were the most important reasons. However, it did very well across the globe. Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago was a continuation of her earlier successes, propelling the singer into superstardom. Her popularity only increased through her subsequent three albums -- Red (2012) 1989 (2014) as well as Reputation (2017) and Reputation in 2017 which saw her move into the realm of pop in which she was already a part. Although she slowed down the production of her folklore album, and Evermore released in 2020, she was nevertheless at the forefront of pop music.
